Psycho Cross After Dark: Friday October 14th from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
bring your own lighting systems to Psycho Cross After Dark
Psycho Cross 2011: Saturday October 15th from 8:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- I am hoping to have a band on Friday night
- There will be camping for $12.00 per person at the venue
- I think that we will have a bonfire(s) that night
- I am going to have a single speed class
- There will be a Cat 4 and a Cat 1/2/3 “Alternative” classes, and alternative means that someone can race: Pugsleys, ‘cross bikes, Schwinn Sting Rays, long board skateboards, grocery carts, Nordic skis, or tandems, I don’t care as long as it is self propelled.
- I am going to get great swag from the vendors that I represent
- The “Bridge of Sighs” aka, the World’s Biggest Flyover returns
- The Friday night race is under the lights, but racers are encouraged to bring lights, if they want
- The Friday night race will include a bubble machine and a wall of bubbles, and a smoke machine
- I hope to put a disco ball and Christmas lights on the flyover
- If people don’t want to camp out, or if the weather is not conducive, I got a $79.00 room rate at a new Holiday Inn Express about seven miles straight down the road (Rt. 12) from the ‘Cross venue
- We are hoping to add a rhythm section and sand pit to the course this year
- The night race will be an abbreviated version of the day race
- Fireworks and drinking of adult beverages will be strongly encouraged at and/or after
